What is Apple Polyphenol?
Apple polyphenols are compounds in apples that have benzene rings and are bound to multiple hydroxyl groups. The polyphenols in apples mainly include five major groups: flavane-3-alcohols, flavonols, hydroxybenzoic acids, dihydrochalcone and anthocyanins.
