Hirudin is one of the most active and studied components of many active ingredients extracted from Leech and its salivary glands. It is a small molecule protein consisting of 65-66 amino acids (peptides). ). Hirudin has a strong inhibitory effect on thrombin and is the strongest natural inhibitor of thrombin found so far.
Function
